The lack of clean water in Haiti is only a part of The World Water Crisis.  Even before the earth quake the people of Haiti had no running water.  Some of the many challenges that prevent clean, running water are simple logistics, being so close to sea level prevents digging to fresh, drinkable water.  The remoteness of the villages and towns makes it difficult for government to provide for these simple needs.  Helping Haiti rebuild with a water system that will meet their needs was a necessity. 

With the Rain Catcher system already installed they are able to harvest and retain rain water!  Our light weight cisterns and pumping system are easy to transport and install.  Now this is a great way to use funding provided to the Haiti government from nations around the world.  The Rain Catcher systems are simple to install and maintain.  The necessary training and easy to install systems provided the Haitian people jobs and the ability to help themselves.  After the devastation and poverty, we have seen a change in spirit with the dignity of having a job and helping others.
